Packed and Blue ice only require 4 of the previous tier of ice to craft

Cauldron Concrete

Dropping concrete powder into cauldrons filled with water will turn it into concrete and use 1 water level

Invisible Item Frames

Placing an item frame or glow item frame in a crafting grid will convert it to an invisible item frame

Placing an invisible item frame in the crafting grid will reverse it

Rotten Flesh to Leather

Cooking rotten flesh in a furnace will turn it into leather

Coal to Black Dye

Coal and Charcoal can be crafted into black dye

Universal Dyeing

Placing a dye in the centre of a crafting table and surrounding it with 8 blocks of any colour will change the colour of all 8 blocks

Additionally, banners and candles can be dyed but only require one item rather than 8

Powder to Glass

Concrete powder can be smelted into stained glass

More Bricks

When crafting brick blocks you will make 4 blocks instead of 1. This also applies to nether brick and red nether brick blocks.

Unpackable Nether Wart

Allows you to turn nether wart blocks into 9 nether wart

You can force copper blocks to oxidise by crafting them with bonemeal, this will move the block to the next stage of oxidisation
